7.5"x11", 39 pages plus 7 engraved plates illustrating the tools used for preparing and applying wax, as well as easels, suggested arrangement of artist's boxes, etc. An ex-library copy, lacking the original covers but retaining the half- title bound into old marbled boards and cloth covers soiled, contents a bit browned and printed on a paper which has become very brittle. One or two hinge cracks.
