Salem The Peabody Museum of Salem: 1968 & 1979.

The first volume, published in 1968, was a comprehensive catalog of paintings and drawings given to the Museum between 1799 and 1966, with 1,961 entries representing the work of 450 identified artists (and more unidentified artists). The second volume adds art acquired by the Museum between 1967 and 1977, as well as logbooks, and corrections to the first volume.

2 volumes. Hardcover. 8.5"x11", 530 and 166 pages, hundreds of black & white and color illustrations, dust jackets. First volume one of the first 750 copies & numbered. 2nd volume with stamp "Time-Life Books Library Atrium" on the title page. Light wear.
